Pratt & Whitney Keeps Expanding Its Service Network With Three New Service Locations

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC, December 2, 2020  –  Pratt & Whitney, a division of Raytheon Technologies Corp. (NYSE: RTX), announced today that it is further expanding the presence of its Global Service Network. It has appointed three Designated Maintenance Facilities (DMFs) that will provide line maintenance and Mobile Repair Team (MRT) services for a number of Pratt & Whitney Canada engines operating within various countries:

These three new DMFs bring the total to 16 in the Pratt & Whitney network, joining others in Asia, the Americas and Europe.

“We have been expanding the number of our DMFs around the world since mid-2017 to ensure our customers have access to the line maintenance and MRT services they require between major scheduled maintenance,” said Satheeshkumar Kumarasingam, vice-president, customer service, at Pratt & Whitney. “DMFs expand our ability to serve customers locally in the language of their preference. Along with faster turnaround times and streamlined logistics, DMFs provide customers with a one-stop shop for authorized, high-quality services, from engine-OEM-approved tooling and parts to direct support from the engine manufacturer if complex technical questions arise.”

Pratt & Whitney has built one of the industry’s largest customer service networks around the world that offers personalized and local solutions in all our market segments. To best serve our customers, we have more than 40 owned and designated facilities, two Customer First (CFirst) Centres in Montreal and Singapore for 24/7/365 support, seven parts distribution centres and more than 100 field support representatives and mobile repair teams situated around the globe.
