Pratt & Whitney Sponsors UConn's Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities

As a company committed to supporting veterans and veteran-owned businesses, Pratt & Whitney is proud to sponsor the University of Connecticut's Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities. The program, which is comprised of an online component and 10 days of rigorous MBA coursework, helps veterans realize their business goals in the face of physical and psychological disabilities.

Since 2010, the UConn Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans Chapter has graduated more than 135 veterans and created over 100 for-profit and 11 non-profit businesses. Thanks to a recommendation by the UTC-4-Vets Employee Resource Group, Pratt & Whitney's sponsorship covered the cost for one veteran to complete this year's Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans program.

Pratt & Whitney currently has nine Employee Resource Groups providing opportunities for employees to expand their professional networks, learn about different cultures and further develop their careers. Employee Resource Groups are open to all employees and promote both personal and professional development, employee engagement, community involvement and business value.
