Pratt & Whitney Congratulates U.S. Air Force on Achieving F-35A Initial Operational Capability

Pratt & Whitney congratulates the U.S. Air Force and the men and women of the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, on achieving initial operational capability (IOC) for the F-35A Lightning II, powered by our F135 propulsion system. With this accomplishment, the U.S. Air Force joins the U.S. Marine Corps in proving the F-35 is combat-ready today, and prepared for deployment wherever and whenever needed by combatant commanders.
