Pavilion Plays Powerful Role in Telling UTC's Story at Farnborough
Narrator: Behind glass walls is the future of aerospace. A display of modern technology and innovation that can take months to prepare, as Cheryl Andersen clearly understands.
Cheryl Andersen, Pratt & Whitney: Well, we start the planning process around Christmas time.
Narrator: Walk through the UTC Aerospace Systems and Pratt & Whitney pavilion and you see the footprint both companies have on aerospace.
Narrator: There is clearly complexity in flight. But the pavilions demonstrate how employees design and build tools and machines that make aviation possible.
Stacey MacNeil, UTC Aerospace Systems: I think, for us, it's really important to be here because we can see our important role in the industry.
Narrator: It's an amazing show-and-tell experience that happens daily under one roof, global customers learning what UTC is offering now and tomorrow and for years to come.
Stacey MacNeil, UTC Aerospace Systems: I think this year the pavilion is even stronger than ever. We're really talking about the power of United Technologies. That's Otis, Climate Control Systems; toward the air show here, that's Pratt & Whitney and it's us at UTC Aerospace Systems, and I think collectively, we're telling a much better story.
Narrator: A story that is well known at the Farnborough Airshow. One that Cheryl and her colleagues carefully construct and joyfully tell.
Cheryl Andersen, Pratt & Whitney: It's still really exciting for me. I still get the butterflies. It's a passion. And I think you have to love what you do and that's why I get so excited about it, year after year.
