Pratt & Whitney Employees Inspire the Next Generation Through Junior Achievement Program

Last week, more than 25 Pratt & Whitney employees visited Anna E. Norris Elementary School in East Hartford, Connecticut, for a day of volunteering, educating and inspiring through the Junior Achievement program. Junior Achievement is a partnership between businesses and educators to encourage young people to reach their potential.

Junior Achievement's mission is to help children understand the fundamentals of economics and free enterprise through age-appropriate lessons that are both fun and educational. During this one-day event, volunteers facilitated educational classroom exercises including "Our City," "Our Region," and "Economics for Success" for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
