P&W Employees Participate in Green Apple Day of Service

As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability, Pratt & Whitney employees in Connecticut, Florida and Georgia will participate in The Green Apple Day of Service, an initiative of The U.S. Green Building Council's Center for Green Schools, throughout the week of Sept. 21. Employees from several of the company's sites in Singapore participated in a Green Apple Day of Service event earlier this year.

"This initiative allows students, teachers, parents, companies and local organizations to partner to transform local schools through service projects," said Erin Strout, manager, Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Affairs. "Pratt & Whitney is proud to be involved with and to support several of these projects throughout the U.S. and internationally."
