Pratt & Whitney Statement on CSeries Engine Ground Testing

Pratt & Whitney worked with Bombardier to have the CSeries aircraft safely return to engine ground operation on June 10. Following the incident on May 29, Pratt & Whitney conducted an in depth review of the engine and found that a slight design modification would allow for continued ground testing. We have developed a plan with Bombardier to resume flight testing in the near future.
