Pratt & Whitney's Fall Issue of 'Product Support Quarterly' Magazine Focuses on Future Programs

The latest edition of Pratt & Whitney's "Product Support Quarterly" magazine focuses on future programs and highlights Pratt & Whitney's engine on the X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System, which completed shipboard launches and landings earlier this year.
The in-house publication reaches a wide audience of military customers, employees, suppliers, government officials and other stakeholders.
In a cover story for the issue hitting mailboxes this month, Pratt & Whitney showcases the team working on the F100U engine powering the X-47B and how the company partnered with Northrop Grumman and the Navy to make the program a success in many ways.
The fall issue includes a feature on reducing life cycle cost through performance-based logistics, a piece on working on F135 engines at the manufacturing site in Middletown, Conn., and a story on extending depot overhaul intervals of the F100-PW-220 engine.
