Military Engines 'Product Support Quarterly' Magazine Gets a New Look

Pratt & Whitney Military Engines has published a new and updated version of its "Product Support Quarterly" magazine. Click here to view a .pdf version of the new edition.

Since its inception, the magazine's focus has been on reaching the maintainers and Pratt & Whitney's field service representatives, who work to keep our engines on wing, and keep our customers flying. The magazine has a long history of bringing stories from the flightline, from the hangar, and from the shop floor - and that tradition will absolutely continue in the new PSQ. However, we have listened to the feedback from our readers, and we're making a few changes.

For starters, we have tuned up the magazine's layout to be more consistent with Pratt & Whitney's strong brand. We're including more pictures from the field, and future issues will also include infographics - a tool that will help tell elements of stories in a way a photograph or illustration just can't communicate.

This issue's cover story is about Pratt & Whitney's partnership with the U.S. Air Force in providing affordable readiness for the F117 engine - the power plant for the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft. In the story you will learn more about Pratt & Whitney representatives and Airmen at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Okla., partnering to successfully perform F117 engine overhaul and sustainment at the base's new F117 Heavy Maintenance Center.

In future issues, PSQ will bring more stories to you about our various programs and the people working behind the scenes to keep the eagle flying. We are elevating the standards of the magazine and hope you are pleased with the new, "tuned up" PSQ.

Printed copies of the publication have been shipped to Military Engines customers and employees. For more information about the publication and to suggest story ideas, send a message to [email protected].
