Pratt & Whitney Establishes Engineering Center of Excellence at Iowa State University
Pratt & Whitney has established a strategic research partnership with Iowa State University to improve gas turbine engine technology for aerospace applications. The five-year initiative establishes a Pratt & Whitney Center of Excellence at Iowa State University.
Research projects will focus on three areas:
- • Non-destructive evaluation of engine components.
- • Materials design and testing.
- • Aerospace thermal systems.
