India operates more than 140 Airbus A320neo family aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines, which deliver industry-leading sustainability benefits and world-class operating costs, thanks to their unique geared fan architecture.
PW100/150 Engine
The engine power of India's UDAN regional aviation vision, the PW100/150 family powers nearly 90 ATR 42/72 and Q400 aircraft for airlines like IndiGo, SpiceJet and Alliance Air. The PW127G is also the engine on the Indian Air Force's latest military transport, the C-295.
PT6A
75 Pilatus PC-7 MK II trainers flown by the Indian Air Force, are powered by the iconic PT6A engine. In India, the PT6A also powers a fleet of aircraft that includes the King Air Family, Caravan family and PC-12s. PT6A is also the propulsion choice for India's NAL-SARAS MKI.
F117
Generating 40,440 pounds of thrust the F117 engines come with various technological and material advances that enable the IAF’s C-17 Globemaster IIIs to operate from numerous environments without significant compromise on operational capabilities.

Pratt & Whitney’s state-of-the-art Customer Training Center in Hyderabad provides specialized training to airline engineers & technicians on its most advanced engines. The center has imparted training to more than 60 operators representing over 40 nationalities.
The India Capability Center (ICC) is Pratt & Whitney’s world-class global supply chain support center in Bengaluru, India. The rapidly expanding center employs more than 400 supply chain analysts and customer service experts who augment our global supply chain operations.
The projected 500+ engineers and employees at India Engineering Center will carry out work across aero, mechanical and control systems for various products in Pratt & Whitney’s commercial engines portfolio – including development, field support & sustainment.
