The Pratt & Whitney GTF Advantage™ engine extends our lead as the most sustainable engine for the Airbus A321neo aircraft family. With cost and revenue benefits from lower fuel consumption, higher payload and longer range, and better performance at hot and high airports, the GTF Advantage engine delivers additional aircraft capability.

  • 4-8% higher takeoff thrust with up to 1% in additional fuel and CO2 savings
  • Sea level takeoff thrust up to 34,000 pounds
  • Successfully tested on 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)
  • Fully intermixable and interchangeable with today’s model
  • Well suited for the A321XLR, enabling new route options
  • On track for certification in mid-2024, the GTF Advantage will incorporate mature durability at entry into service.

Pratt & Whitney’s global network of MRO facilities is expanding to support the growing fleet. We’re increasing GTF MRO capacity around the world — both in our shops and across a network of industry leaders, with 16 active shops and three more expected to come on-line by 2025.
