With the P&WCSMART™ Overhaul Parts Capped Cost Program for PT6A Engines, you lock in a predictable and attractive capped price for all replaced parts during your overhaul event. With an increased ratio of new P&WC parts, you benefit from lower long-term operating costs along with increased engine durability and time on wing.
About the Program
- Capped costs on genuine P&WC overhaul parts for your entire engine – including new, used and exchange parts. Main oil filter, thermocouples and igniter plugs are included. Accessories are excluded.
- Capped cost on life-limited parts (LLP) replacement with a minimum of 6,000 cycles remaining on replaced parts.
- Category 1-6 Service Bulletins. · No extra charges for typical corrosion, sulphidation or erosion.
- No extra charges for foreign object damage (FOD) provided it did not cause an unscheduled removal.
- No extra charges for replacement of non-P&WC parts with genuine P&WC parts.
Need more cycles? Simply increase the life limited parts (LLP) capped cost by:
- US$15,000 for LLP replacement with a minimum of 10,000 cycles remaining
- US$25,000 for LLP replacement with a minimum of 12,000 cycles remaining
- US$40,000 for LLP replacement with a minimum of 14,000 cycles remaining
- US$60,000 for all-new LLP

The engine must have been operated in accordance with P&WC-approved documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness by relevant authorities.

The engine must have been removed for scheduled reasons and not due to an unscheduled removal (BUR).

The engine must have been operated according to its type certificate, on a civil registered aircraft, and maintained by a civilly registered entity otherwise a military premium will apply.
