ESP™ Coverage Levels
Coverage levels vary based on aircraft and engine model. Get in touch with a Pratt & Whitney Canada representative in your region to discuss the right option for you.
All packages include the following coverage:
- Engine overhaul or refurbishment
- Hot section inspection (HSI)
- Basic unplanned engine removal (BUER)
- Basic unplanned accessory removal (BUAR)
- Troubleshooting labor (limited)
- Service bulletin incorporation
- Lease engine support
- Trend monitoring
Gold Package adds the following coverage:
- Troubleshooting labor (as required)
- Removal and installation (R&I)
- Mobile repair team (MRT) support for AOG
- Freight
Where available the Platinum Package* adds the following coverage to gold:
- Routine periodic inspections
- Environmental damage repair

Carbon Offset Service
Our carbon offset service allows you to offset the carbon footprint of your aircraft and is available for all P&WC-powered aircraft enrolled in an ESP™ or FMP™ maintenance program.

Delivering you the best long-term value and peace of mind is our top priority. That’s why, when you enroll a new PT6A engine¹ in our Eagle Service™ Plan (ESP™ Program), we’ll give you the first 400 hours² at no charge – a value of up to $70,000 USD per engine towards covered maintenance. After the initial no-charge period, you will also benefit from a discounted ESP™ Program rate until first overhaul based on the engine model. Since New or two years from date of aircraft delivery, whichever occurs first, for engines enrolled when new.
With the ESP™ Flex Option—defer at least 50% of your ESP™ buy-in until your next shop visit or at sale of aircraft—and invest your capital elsewhere.

Here’s how it works
- Select your ESP program coverage level
- Upon enrollment, make a relatively small initial payment based on a percentage of the current total time since new (TTSN) or total time since overhaul (TTSO)
- Payment for remaining hours flown prior to enrollment can be deferred and is typically due at engine overhaul or sale of aircraft, whichever occurs first
- Enjoy the benefits of ESP program coverage including no annual minimum charges– you pay only what you fly
