The best is getting even better

Higher thrust and less fuel. Cost and revenue opportunities for airlines.

Airlines who demand unmatched efficiency depend on GTF power for their A320neo family aircraft. We are now building upon the engine’s mature dispatch reliability, adding aircraft capability and taking these benefits to a new level.

The Pratt & Whitney GTF Advantage™ engine will extend its lead as the most efficient engine for the A320neo family. This new configuration demonstrates the long runway for growth inherent to the geared fan architecture, along with our commitment to continual investment in technology, innovation and efficiency.

Innovating for the future of flight

We continually improve engine and propulsion systems efficiency. From our revolutionary GTF engine family, to advanced hybrid-electric systems, we continue to develop technologies that make aircraft fly more efficiently.

Even more efficient

GTF engines already offer the lowest fuel consumption for single-aisle aircraft, and the GTF Advantage engine extends that lead. Compared to the current GTF engine, the GTF Advantage offers better fuel efficiency. Building upon the GTF’s  successful test on 100% synthetic aviation fuel (SAF), Pratt & Whitney is working to ensure that the GTF Advantage will be compatible with future specifications for 100% SAF.

Transforming Aviation

Even lower operating costs
