Tizz Weber

Vice President & Chief Communications Officer

Tizz Weber is vice president and Chief Communications Officer at Pratt & Whitney. She is responsible for leading the strategic direction of all communications activities across the enterprise, both internal and external, and managing the global Communications team and international focal points. Her key areas of oversight include: executive, employee and change communications; media bureau, public relations and strategic messaging; digital communications; brand, strategic events and corporate citizenship; and product communications, supporting customer campaigns and a multitude of markets, including: commercial and military engines; business, general, and regional aviation; and emerging markets.

Tizz brings over 35 years of experience to this role. She’s held various leadership roles, of increasing responsibility, in marketing and communications at United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Standard, and Otis. Most recently, Tizz served as senior director and head of the Executive, Employee, and Change Communications Center of Excellence, leading internal, cross-functional communications initiatives in support of enterprise-wide priorities.

Tizz holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and organizational communications from the University of Hartford and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
