Rob Griffiths

VP, Quality

Rob Griffiths is vice president, Quality, for Pratt & Whitney. In this role, Rob leads all aspects of quality for Pratt & Whitney globally.

Rob has more than 28 years of experience with Pratt & Whitney, beginning his career in the Manufacturing Engineering Development program. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), and Aftermarket.

Most recently, Rob was vice president, Engine Centers, North America & Turkey and Global Operational Readiness. He led GTF MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) operational readiness and execution of the ramp of shop visits and established engine overhaul and component repair capacity and capability within Pratt & Whitney and our global network partner members.

A native of Bronx, New York, Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Rob is a member of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, the United States’ oldest professional African American Greek Letter organization. He is also a motorcycle enthusiast and rider and as a member of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club, he serves in a leadership capacity for the Hartford, Connecticut chapter.
