Six Decades of Service Excellence
Pratt & Whitney Canada is marking 60 years of service excellence provided by members of its Global Customer Service Network.
In addition to its own MRO facilities around the world, P&WC has appointed Designated Overhaul Facilities (DOFs), Approved Repair Facilities (ARFs) for its fleet of auxiliary power units (APUs), and Designated Maintenance Facilities (DMFs) which provide local line maintenance. Together P&WC’s owned and designated facilities amount to more than 55 locations around the world at the ready to serve P&WC customers.
The very first designated facility was Dallas Airmotive (acquired by Standard Aero in 2021) which was appointed to serve PT6A customers in 1964, just a few months after the December 1963 launch of the iconic PT6A turboprop engine.
From those fledgling beginnings, Pratt & Whitney Canada today relies on its robust network of highly skilled overhaul and maintenance facilities to help serve the roughly 62,000 P&WC engines operated today by more than 15,000 aviation professionals and organizations in 180 countries.
